Trumpet/Composer/Educator
I’ll be performing my composition along with the Saint Benedict/Saint John’s Wind Ensemble directed by Dr. Justin Zanchuk. The solo part calls for C trumpet, Flugelhorn, Bb trumpet, and piccolo trumpet, and also uses electronics. The piece also contains improvisation for both the soloist and ensemble members. On September 25th at 7:30pm, I’ll be playing Marcello’s Concerto in C Minor (originally for Oboe) with UNC’s Symphony Orchestra. The concert is the ensemble’s first ever performance in UNC’s new performance hall and is located in the Campus Commons. There should be a live stream available, more details closer to the performance!
I’m thrilled to announce that I’m going to be making a new CD recording with Tracy Cowden in January 2019! The repertoire is all transcriptions from across the world. More than half of the repertoire is going to be recorded on Flugelhorn, with the rest being played on trumpet.
We are recording on January 7-8 and presenting a recital on January 9 in Milne Auditorium at 8pm

I’ll be joining the brass section from the Greeley Philharmonic for their annual Christmas Brass concert. Performances are December 20 and 21 at First United Methodist Church in Greeley, CO.
I’ll be playing Handel’s Messiah with the Ft. Collins Symphony Orchestra on December 16 at First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins CO.
I’ll be playing principal trumpet with the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra on their holiday pops concert. December 15, Cheyenne Civic Center, Cheyenne WY.
I’ll be playing principal trumpet on Thaikovsky’s Nutcracker with the Colorado Dance Theatre Orchestra. Performances are December 7-9 at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley CO.
I’ll be playing principal on Handel’s Messiah with Pro Musica Colorado. Performances are December 1 at 7:30pm, and December 2 at 3:00pm at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Boulder.
